Trashcaninator

The materials needed for the trashcaninator are sheets of metal, ribbits, a handle and wheels and the process of making the artefact is easy. The sheets of metals were cut into the right sizes and are stucked together by the ribbits and then the handle and the wheels were attached.

Design

After the brainstorming, our group made our design. The model should be 1.2 meters tall, 0.5 meters long and 0.7 meters wide. The model also possess two wheels, a handle, a compartment for gloves and a slanted top for easier access. Unlike the normal trash bins, our design is more sturdier and easier to transport.

Brainstorm

Since we need innovation, the trashcan must be designed to increase its efficiency and purpose. Our group suggested the following:
- the trashcan have wheels.
-                     can fly to transport garbage
-                     have an incinerator to destroy unwanted things
-                     can sort garbage (bio-degradable; non-biodegradable)
-                     have gloves to keep the users hand clean
-                     have a cup holder for convenience.
-                     have a disinfectant.
etc...
with all those ideas, we all decided to make a simple one with with wheels, a perfect size for transporting, a handle, a slanted top for easy use, and a good design.

Interview...

We were asked to ask a teacher or a dorm manager about their jobs and  how to make their tasks easier. In our interview for a science teacher, he told us about the dirt on the lab after performing  experiments so our group decided to make a improved version of a trashcan named "Trashcaninator".

Prelude

This blog was named rollingthunder926 for some reasons, but this blog is really about our AD TECH project about metalwork. We will make something that will help the people assigned to us (dormitory managers and teachers) in their daily work.
